This Halloween, as opposed to the usual treats, try organic Halloween candy. Sure, there is certainly still sugar involved. But at least it's organic sugar, made without pesticides or herbicides. Instead of artificial colorings, natural substances, like black carrot juice, turmeric, and annatto (from your lipstick plant) are utilized.

Maybe your child features a sensitivity to gluten or corn. Are you concerned with artificial colorings or flavors. Or you simply want something different from everything else that's on the market.

Fewer toxins filter down into the soil, fewer poisons end up in our water supply. When pesticides are sprayed on traditional farms, a lot of it gets carried by wind to neighboring farms and houses. Eliminating them means cleaner air for everybody.

What about food coloring?

In accordance with CSPI (the guts for Science within the Public Interest,) 23 studies have been implemented to date, studying the role those meals additives use on children's health insurance and behavior.
